Clyde sat at the Gryffindor table beside Wallace. He was hacking away as some oddly hard piece of meat. When he finally got a piece of it onto his fork, a quick look over at the meat brought him to the conclusion it was inedible. He pushed it away and was rather pleased when it disappeared. Clyde settled for a familiar dish of cod with a side of baked potatoes.
Wallace, however, was sticking with a nice tomato bisque and a chunk of bread. The very sight of the food was making his stomach churn, but he figured he had to get something into his system, at least. "I'b sick," he said to Clyde, feigning a stuffy nose as well for extra validity.

Clyde scooched a few inches away from Wallace. "That blows, how bad is it?"
"I'unno." He tore off a piece of bread and soaked it in the soup a moment before taking a bite. "Pomfrey says it oughta pass in a day or two, but..."

Clyde was smirking into his cod. "Over dramatize it like everything else and you could skip classes."

Amanda sat at the Raven Claw table, pushing around some mash potatoes that were strewn across her plate. Beside it sat a nearly untouched steak. Both looked so delicious, sitting there sizzling quietly, but they also appeared so unappetizing at the same time. She probably lost her appetite from the lack of sleep lately... She'd fine herself counting the folds in her bed drapes at three every morning.
"I don't over-dramatize. You're just... underwhelmed." Wallace picked up his bowl of soup and took a long drink, deciding he didn't care much for the bread.
