| these are fun spoiled for long kinda self-centered stuff - Spoiler:
i may go to a dweebus con in march like those indeed from our 12 year old wet dreams. i need some cos ideas. the con's 3 days. to spark you guys into excitement there is a my little pony event woooooo you guys hey look stuff you fags like one day will have to be homestuck-related because if i go i'll probably go with my stucker friend. i already have kind of an idea of who i want to go as from that but i'm just hoping my facial structure works for it slash it doesn't wind up being one of those shitty ones that the majority of the fandom tends to exemplify. tl;dr cos advice (primarily. do i look like any animu/game/comic characters face-wise?) ideas already: 1. feferi peixes(hs) << will probably do this one because requires less GENERAL UGH than sn0wman(hs)2. Luluko Lamperouge (possibly finalized depending on the mask omg) 3. Timmy Turner (finalized) some choice will probably be who my friend goes as/who anyone goes as who's also going but idk what that might be yet so
wow it looked longer in typing it

| Writing in spoilers because it's fun. - Spoiler:
Would you consider doing a character from Western Animation? You might choke me from saying this, but would you consider doing Daria? I know I know, but you already look and behave a lot like her. Also, it would be a quick and simple costume, but still distinctive. I don't know HOW many people would recognize you, but those would be greatly amused by it. People like things like that.
If you did a Haruhi Suzumyia character, by all means, do Koizumi or Kyon. The three ladies are a bit more expected and overdone. Besides, those male leads are great. But, if you were do one of the three leading ladies, I'd stay away from the school uniform costume. You could Mikuru's SchoolFestival!Waitress outfit, or maybe Haruhi's battle outfit that she wears in her daydreams in Day Of The Sagittarius.
How much time do you have again before this? You could do Tokyo Mew Mew, but I'm just a little eh about. I'd consider Sailor Moon, though.
That was very fun. | |

| ain't it - Spoiler:
Oh, I totally would. Just... not Daria. She's a little too... emblematic of the what every apathetic teenage high school girl aspires to be, and oddly enough that kind of just.... And I couldn't get my hair THAT long in two months, lol. Since you bring up WA, though, that kind of opens up a whole other spectrum I hadn't really considered. O: I definitely hear that overdone thing for Haruhi, though. I'll probably wind up being a chick in whatever I do, since I'm a little nervous about binding my chest down (then again, i've never tried.), and letting them just hang out while trying to crossplay looks really lazy. Think maybe one of the genderbent kids could work? ._. This would be my first aside from halloween, ahaha. Thought y'all knew that. And, again, it's March 16-18, so I've got about two months.

| Hmm. - Spoiler:
I think the genderbent idea is smart! They're not as recognizable, but it would still be very fun! Honestly, I think if you were to do either Girl!Kyon or Girl!Koizumi, you'd suit the features of the latter more.
And two months, huh? This opens up many more possibilities. I'd love to see you as a Sailor Moon character, by the way. </3
Also, would you do you Code Geass? This IS sort of living the dream, more or less.

The thing with SM or CG is that I'm pretty much flat broke right now aside from the 80-some my mom owes me. I'd so kill to do either of those, though. I've been wanting to do Luluko since like... 09? Before Ergo and I had that fight, at least. 09 ish. It'd be easy enough if I got the right pattern, and I've kind of wanted a black wig for a while. Will add to list.

Oh, yeah. I forgot-are you going to be buying this costume, or are you planning on making itself? That's something to consider.
The thing about Western Animation characters is that their outfits need to look more 'normal' depending on the universe. Also, you could get away with looking a bit more silly, as western characters tend to look a bit more caricatured. Though, this isn't the case for all. Many WA and anime characters have similar features with the big eyes and small noses-IE Disney.
But that aside, it's all up to your own personal choice.
Also, a Pokemon character would be an easy costume to do. But, it might seem a little... hasty is the problem.

could i get away with timmy turner because that sounds more fun the more i think about it omg
For CG I COULD be able to make it, probably; really, it would depend what costume I was doing. If I was doing uniform!Lulu, I could make it. For Zero, that might be a little more difficult, but again I could probably make the actual costume part. I remember eons ago I was trying desperately to figure out how I could make the front bit of the helmet to little avail, but... Oh, and a contact lens. Those are like... $100-200. Poo. I could just leave my helmet on. /brainstorm

I think Timmy Turner would be really fun, actually. It would be VERY unexpected. XD You like that show Tatami Galaxy or something, right? Is there any character you'd dress up as from that show? And I actually might be going to Fanime or another Con in this coming year. Some friends and I admittedly, want to live the dream.

I thought about it but kind of decided it would be a little too obscure. Only seen maybe like 10 people ever mention having heard of it. Not to mention the art style's really kind of specific and I wouldn't wanna butcher it soooo
boss.

| Reviving this. - Spoiler:
Did you also think about doing a character from the MOTHER series? It might be a little far fetched, though.
